Or items may be ordered online: www.pamperedchef.biz/cookstools. (Enter “AHFOL” in the Host section.) The fundraiser will end March 31.

Jersey Shore History Program
Have you ever wondered… why there is an elephant-shaped building on the beach in Margate; who built a concrete ship (or why did it sink near Cape May); how did Jersey Shore towns get names such as ‘Ship Bottom’ or ‘Loveladies?’ If so, join Kevin Woyce for a colorful tour of Jersey Shore History at the Library, Wednesday March 3, at 7 PM. Mr. Woyce, a lifelong resident of the Garden State, will cover topics from shipwrecks, lighthouses, and the first seaside resorts to today’s most popular boardwalks. This one-hour lecture will be accompanied by a slide show, including original photography of New Jersey Lighthouses, boardwalks, and landmarks, plus vintage images of historic sites, events and people. The program is free to the public.
